Our Vision

At Maine Writers Studio we believe that bleating words and stories in a vacuum is not a way to live a full creative life; we need each other to be fully human; we need to share our stories in communion, to hear and experience each other face to face. 

Maine Writers Studio is a warm and welcoming creative space, both in Mid-Coast Maine and virtually, where writers from near and far come together to be part of a joyful literary community, to inspire and support each other. To be each others cheerleaders.
